Documentation is an essential part of the planning and reporting process, As such, it’s a vital element in managing the development pipeline. Documentation covers a wide range of written activity including concepts, character profiles, narrative elements, voice actor scripts, technical specification, bug fix reports, user testing reports, finance and planning and so on.
In my final year I will have to produce a range of these documents to support my final major project. This is also something that my professional career will be dictated by; having to follow technical specifications, schedules and briefs.
As preparation for my FMP and later life I have taken this opportunity to have a go at writing up some mock documentation based on an early FMP concept.
